Boldly Male Soundtrack
One of my favorite things in the world is music. While I might sometimes forget why I walked into a room 10 seconds prior, I can remember song lyrics all the way back to my childhood and recite them at the drop of a hat.
The Bible has many references to music, including Psalm 57:7, which reads “My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.” God intended for us to have enjoyment in life and music can be a great unifying force in a world of division.
I believe music can communicate important concepts in a way no other media can. To that end, I decided one of the first posts as this blog gets off the ground should be the creation of a soundtrack (that’s the old fashioned term for a playlist for you young ‘uns). These songs contain a sampling of themes that inspired me to create Boldly Male and, given the popularity of many of these songs, they resonate with a larger audience as well.
Click the image below for the Spotify version (for those that don’t have Spotify, the list is below the link). You may notice a trend that ties to the key principles of the site in the first 4 song titles. Let me know in the comments which songs hit home with you, which fall flat, and what songs that I missed that you would include on your playlist.
